North Korea Nature IS fascinating
Great footage! If you look beyond the oppressive government, there's so much beauty in North Korea. I wish Americans could still go. I just realized that the main melody in the music is the "Interstellar" melody heavily slowed down with some beats added lol - I like it.

Although I think given the eoconomic and now cultural disparity between the nations reunification would not be practical. I hope one day atleast Koreans on both sides have freedom to travel.
My wife and I are going next year and I am curious as to which tour company did you go through.
I went with South Sea Horizons booked via Intrepid. All the porters are from the villages and not PM so it’s good for the locals to go with this company.

Sucks that such a beautiful place is home to one of the worst regimes in almost a century. I hope the people of NK will one day live comfortably. I'd like to believe that their lives aren't endless fear and struggling, but I can't tell whether the majority of NK has been beaten into despondence or not. Footage of NK sometimes feels like the world's biggest theater project where everyone has roles just to keep up appearances, and considering a handful of stores are fake and just have display food behind glass, I wouldn't be shocked.
I'm busy eating popcorn while reading your propaganda comments that have been washed by the western media. i from Singapore and work in NK, everyhing hier is fine, i am more at peace living here

If you are after a porter / guide, the price can vary otherwise most of the tea houses will let you stay for free providing you purchase a meal from them.
